Direct and indirect speech
Direct Speech says or repeats the same or exact words spoken. There is no change in the words. In writing direct speech, we use the quotation mark (" ") symbol.
Indirect speech usually talks about the past so we change the tense of the ver (from present to past). We also use the word that to state the words spoken.
